Part 1. Convert Apple Music & iTunes Songs to MP3/M4A/AC3

Step 1. Launch Apple Music Converter on Mac

Run Apple Music Converter on Mac and iTunes will be launched automatically. You should make sure that you've installed the latest version of iTunes. Now you will see the main interface as follow.

Step 2. Select iTunes Music from the Playlist

You are able preview iTunes music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, etc. on the Playlist panel. To select iTunes music, click on "Library" or "Music" tab and you will see all your iTunes music display on the main interface. Tick on the checkbox next to the item you want to convert to MP3. Or you can use the "Search" bar to locate your desired music files quickly.

Step 3. Edit ID3 Tags of iTunes Music

You can edit or change the ID3 tags of your iTunes music easily with this program. And the modified information including title, artist, album, cover, etc. will be save to the output MP3/M4A files.

Step 4. Adjust Audio Conversion Speed

You can set up the conversion speed for the audio conversion from 1X to 16X by clicking on "Options" > "General" > "Set custom format for output file name". But the suggested speed for conversion is from 1X to 5X.


Step 5. Choose Output Format and Output Folder

Now go to "Output" to select MP3/M4A/AC3/AIFF as output format. You can also choose the location you like to save the output files.

Step 6. Start Converting iTunes M4P to MP3

Simply click on "Start Convert" button and the program will begin the conversion immediately. Once it is finished, you will be able to find the output files in your selected destination folder.

Part 2. Extract Audio Tracks from iTunes Video Files

Step 1. Select iTunes Movies, TV Shows or Music Videos

You can take a preview of the video files listed in "Music Videos", Home Videos" or "TV Shows" categories and select the videos you would like to extract audio tracks from. You can also use the search function we mentioned in Part 1 to locate the media you want.

Step 2. Select Output Format and Output Folder

You can choose the output format as MP3, M4A, AC3, AIFF or FLAC. And it also lets you save the output files to wherever you like by choosing your desired destination folder.

Step 3. Extract Audio from iTunes Video

Click on the "Start Convert" button to start extracting audio from iTunes video file. The process will be finished within seconds.

Part 3. Convert M4B/AA/AAX to MP3/M4A

Step 1. Select Audiobooks from Playlist

After downloading and installing the program, launch it. When the main interface shows up, go to "Playlists" and tap on the "Audiobooks" category. You will see all audiobooks stored in your iTunes library display in the main interface. You can select the audiobooks one by one by ticking on the box next to them.

Step 2. Change Metadata Information and Output Parameters

You can edit the title, artist, album and other metadata information of your audiobooks before conversion in the "Metadata" section. It also allows you to change output parameters like codec, bit rate, sample rate or channels of the selected audio files.

Step 3. Choose Output Format and Destination Folder

Go to "Output" to select the output format from the given options including MP3, AC3, M4A, AIFF, etc. After that, you can choose a destination folder to save the converted audiobooks.

Step 4. Convert Audiobooks to MP3/M4A

Click on "Start Convert" button to start the M4B to MP3 conversion. After that, you will be able to listen to your M4B/AA/AAX audiobooks on any device or player easily.
